Sinead McKeown BSc(Hons), MSCh, HCPC registered
Dunmurry Podiatry is the first private Podiatry service in the area. Due to the rise in elderly and indeed overall population in Dunmurry, there is a real need for a professional footcare service.
Sinead McKeown, BSc(Hons), MCPod, graduated from the Northern Ireland School of Podiatry in 1990 and gained an additional Honours Degree in Podiatric Medicine in 1995 from Brighton University, Sussex, England.
Sinead is registered with The Health Professions council (HCPC) and has been a member of the Royal College of Podiatrists RCOP since 1990.
Sinead has clinical experience of over 30 years, her quality service in a professional environment is offered to the residents of Dunmurry, Lisburn and Belfast communities.
Sinead has post graduate certificates in Health Care Leadership, Foot Reflexology and also for the supply and sale of Prescription only Medicines (POMs) in Podiatry.
Sinead has extensive experience in both National Health Service (NHS) and the private sector. In her NHS role she worked as a specialist Podiatrist on the High Risk Foot as well as being a member of the Biomechanical/Musculoskeletal Foot Team.
Her private clinic has been established 15 years and has recently moved to the central location of Dunmurry village, a few miles south of Belfast. It is a bright, modern and professional clinic located a short walking distance from the convenient Tesco shopping precinct which has ample parking. Sinead’s years of experience in the private sector have given her a wealth of knowledge in a very wide range of foot problems (see our services).
